These are handfed disease tested  babies.

The barred parakeet (Bolborhynchus lineola), also known as the lineolated parakeet or "linnie," is a small, quiet, and calm parrot from the highland forests of tropical Latin America, popular as a pet due to its gentle nature and unique horizontal posture. They are mostly green with dark barring, enjoy water, and are known for their soft, mumble-like vocalizations, making them a good choice for those seeking a less noisy companion bird.
