Brenda & Billy's Aviary wants to remind you to take the proper steps in keeping yourselves, family and your pets safe!
These are some helpful suggestions below.
Purchase a good carrier-we have them.
Assemble and place an emergency kit in an easily accessible area ready to go if evacuation is required.
Have your pet's carriers assembled and labeled with permanent ink as follows:
Birds Name(s), Owner's Name, Address and Telephone Number
Emergency Contact Name and Telephone
Veterinarian's Name, Address and Telephone Number
Any medications or special dietary needs, 1 – 2 week supply. Make sure you have medical records.
We are always open and fully stocked with supplies.
We are always open for sitting/shelter and are here to take care of the birds
Have your travel carrier with food & water bowls and newspaper to line the carrier with.
Disinfectant to clean those carriers with if you are traveling with your babies or to have available at home.

Stock up on gallon bottles of water, food supply and pellets – for at least 2 weeks.
Take photos of all your pets & write band numbers down.
