About Us

Brenda & Billy's Aviary

We at Brenda & Billy’s Aviary take great pride in our birds. We specialize in handfed babies. With over 45 combined years we have been hand-feeding, raising, training birds and working in an environment with birds and rescues, as well have plenty of parrots ourselves. All of our staff are American Federation of Aviculture & PIJAC Certified Avian Specialists. Our goal is to help our companion parrots and new ‘parronts’ to be as successful as possible. Our mission is to educate you as much as we can about the varieties of birds, housing needs, emotional and mental well-being, the different temperaments, behavior training, diet and care. We want to answer questions and make sure you understand what is involved in having a companion bird.
We require proof of toys, perches and cage set-up for your new feathered companion. You are welcome to purchase your cage and/or supplies from Brenda & Billy's Aviary – we often have package deals or discounts for the extras and cages, so feel free to inquire.
For safety reasons, we do require the birds to transport in a carrier when they leave the store. Carriers should be kept handy in your home in case of emergency or the need to evacuate the bird from your home quickly. We are in Florida and occasionally have the threat of storms, we are also here to care for your birds in the event of such occurs.
When your new bird goes home, we will discuss behavior and training, household safety, and nutrition. Our instructions are in the best interest of your new birds to ensure a proper transition to the new home. We want to make sure the new bird is eating and adjusting properly.
This should be the best experience and we want to help you with it!
We carry a large variety of supplies, cages, toys, supplements, food and pellets as well and of course we have many types of birds, and rescues of all species and ages.

EXTRA SERVICES:

We offer a variety of services, such as birdie daycare and while you are away stay, with special food packages also. And, of course nail, beak, and wing trimming.
The fees vary due to type of bird.
