English Budgies

The English Budgie is 8.5-9.5 inches long and generally a calm and laid-back pet .This comes as a result of being trained for shows and pet exhibitions where a restless bird will be disqualified. So, if a quiet and less noisy bird is what you search for on your quest, English budgies are just your type. Plus, they go along pretty fine with a family with kids or first timers. More so, they have a greater tendency to swing, hop and play around 

Budgies can talk up a storm. Believe it or not, a budgerigar can learn hundreds of words. The world’s record for a talking bird has been held by this pint-sized parrot1700 words .  They have tiny voices so you have to listen carefully, but you will find that a budgie kept singly will learn to repeat many of the things you say to the bird on a daily basis. This ability does not stop at single words: my mother had a budgie that learned to say, “The drinks are on the house!”
